Master Planning

Once we have helped you work out a vision, program and budget for your project, we can begin the master planning process. Oftentimes the first task in master planning involves public outreach or workshops; we call this the visioning and program development phase which is described above. During the master plan phase, we utilize all of the work that has been done up until now to develop plans that can be implemented in phases or as funding is available, but keeps the project on track in terms of vision and program goals. The master plan can be a single illustrative drawing or an entire published document with backup data supporting the design, such as further illustrative drawings, section 3D modeling, records of workshops or outreach efforts, phasing lines, cost estimates, environmental issues, CEQA or EIR processes completed or identified to be completed, and jurisdictional requirements or approvals that will be necessary.
