Groundbreaking Watsonville City Plaza!

SSA Landscape Architects was proud to join the City of Watsonville for the groundbreaking of the City Plaza Revitalization Project. Funded by a Prop 68 grant, this collaborative design focuses on restoring the Plaza’s historic heart - starting with the iconic gazebo and fountain in Phase 1. 

 

Future phases will bring infrastructure upgrades, new trees, improved lighting and landscaping, gathering spaces, accessibility improvements, and new amenities to better support community events and the weekly Farmers’ Market. The project is expected to be completed in late 2027.
