Evandale Park is a 10,000 s.f. park located in the Whisman Area of Mountain View. Through community outreach, desired elements identified for the park included; garden areas for strolling among trees with seasonal interest, a playground for the 5-12 year old range, with all-inclusive elements such as spinning and retreat zones, and gathering space with benches, picnic and game tables. Evandale Park has a modern theme related to nearby Moffett Field.
The park was completed in November 2020 and provides an inviting space for gathering as well as active play. The park meets the community desire for an open space for all ages, with loop trail around entire park, seating and activities. On-street ADA parking and traffic safety improvements provide safe access.
