The 19-unit development of Las Palmas was designed to honor and maintain the site’s historic farming/cottage character by preserving existing specimen palms and oak trees, re-furbishing existing building materials in landscape elements such as trellises and gateways, and by creating individual fenced garden plots or outdoor patios for each homeowner.
SSA developed a master landscape plan along with design sections and elevations for the City of Cupertino Design Review Board, attended public review hearings and saw the project through the City planning process.
