SSA completed community outreach and consensus building for the development of a program for this 11 acre park followed by a master plan for the entire site. As prime consultant SSA became a team leader and project coordinator of architect, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and geotechnical engineers. The master plan includes three (3) soccer fields and three (3) baseball fields, a basketball court with lighting, a turf volleyball court, a 14,000 SF poured-in-place concrete skate park, an interactive splash park with the alphabet stamped in the encircling pavement, playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, restroom/concession building, walking and jogging paths, picnic and plaza areas, parking lots and is ADA accessibility throughout. The master plan was completed in early 2007 and phase one of construction was completed in summer 2008.
