Jessica grew up along the central California coast spending most of her time surfing. Now as an active mom with two young children, she enjoys sharing the ocean with them and spending time outdoors with her family. Jessica’s lifelong love of the natural world has nurtured her focus on creating resilient landscapes and inspiring people to engage with nature. She is passionate about her work connecting land and sea and strives to create healthier watersheds through stormwater management and ecosystem restoration. Her specialization in rainwater and greywater catchment systems and extensive knowledge of California native plant ecosystems makes her a valuable addition to the SSA team.
Jessica’s background in science and uniquely artistic approach allows her to address environmental challenges with creative solutions. She holds a certificate in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley Extension and a bachelor's degree in Biology.
